Consumer Electronics major Oscar entered into highly competitive Rs 70,000 crore Indian Mobile Phone Market with 10 models price ranging from Rs 1700 to Rs 4500.

Oscar is planning to launch the new phones in North India first. Oscar has a good presence in North India for its electronics products like Color TVs, DVD Players, Home Theater Systems etc.

International players like Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson are already facing tough competition from Indian handset manufactures like Micromax, Lava etc.
