Tata Aria is a seven seater premium Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) from Tata Motors. The concept was first exhibited at Geneva Motor Show in 2000 and later in 2010 the product was unveiled in Delhi Auto Expo 2010.

Initial launch date of Tata Aria was June 2010 but the latest reports show that Tata Aria to hit India roads by Sep or Oct 2010.

Tata Aria is one of the much awaited release of 2010 which is going to have direct competition with Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo.

Tata Aria is a cross-over between Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) and Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) which blends the functionality and comfort of a mid-range MPV with the all terrain assurance of an SUV.

It is powered by a 2.2-litre direct injection common rail (DICOR) diesel engine, delivering 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque.

Tata Aria, designed by Tata’s UK Research team comes with many features like dimming roof lamps, in-dash built in GPS, a state-of-the-art infotainment system, multifunctional steering wheel, dual air conditioning with automatic climate control and cruise control.

Tata has not officially confirmed anything about Price and Mileage of Area but the price is expected to be around Rs 12 to 14.5 lakhs.
