Hardware major Hewlett Packard yesterday revealed details about its upcoming 9.7 inch Tablet named HP TouchPad. It comes with vibrant 9.7-inch diagonal flush capacitive multitouch display, virtual keyboard, instant-on access, support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta in the browser and access to thousands of webOS applications.
WebOS is a proprietary mobile operating system based on Linux Kernel. It was initially developed by Palm and later purchased by Hewlett Packard in 2010.

TouchPad’s virtual full QWERTY keyboard includes a number row, which reduces keyboard switching, making typing easy and fast. Also HP is working with Quickoffice to include the Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite.
Amazon.com also announced a free Kindle app for HP webOS tailored for TouchPad with which users will get access to more than 810,000 titles from Amazon’s Kindle Store.
