Intel Core i5 processors are high performance dual and quad core processors with a maximum CPU clock rate of 3.6GHz, 2.5 GT/s DMU speed and based on 45nm or 32nm Nehalem or Westmere micro architecture comes either in LGA 1156 or mPGA989.

Currently these i5 processors are mainly available in leading hardware stores in India.
