Tamil Movies : This Weekend Releases

Tamil film fans has a lot to enjoy this weekend. There are six movies all set to release this friday (25th September, 2009). Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru, Arumugam, Suryan Satta Kallori, Kannukulle, Moonar, and Oru Kadhalan Oru Kadhali.

Expectations are huge on Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru and Aarumugam. Satyam Cinemas and Real Image, the producers of Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru, have done good promotion for this movie in last months. Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru has Ajmal and Rupa as hero and heroine. Aarumugam, directed by Suresh Krishna, stars Bharath and Priyamani in the lead roles.

Other movies for the weekend release are : Suryan Satta Kallori, Kannukulle, Moonar and Oru Kadhalan Oru Kadhali.
 

Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru : In this romantic comedy Ajmal romances with Bangalore model Rupa Manjari. Film maker Mouli plays a role in this film. The film was shot in Red One camera. The movie is made in Tamil and dubbed to Telugu. Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru is the first Tamil film to have an all digital release in India and abroad.

Aarumugam :  Aarumugam with Bharath and Priyamani in the lead is directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Chida Shenbagakumar under the banner Kool productions. Actresses Remya Krishnan and  Seetha are also playing a major roles in this film. Others in cast include Saranya Mohan, Karunaas, Abhinay, Sathya, Manobala, Ilavarasu, Mahadevan, Ravi Prakash, Mayilsamy, Krishnan, Sara (debut).

Suryan Satta Kallori : The film is based on the a law college and bizarre going on through. It has been revealed that the filmmaker has tried depicting the real terrific incident that shook the City of Chennai in Law College over here too. Debutants Ghajini and Mitha are in the lead roles.

Kannukulle : 'Kannukullae' is directed by Lena Moovendar, a former associate of Mahendran, starring Mithun Tejaswi and Aparna in the lead. 

Moonar : Moonar is expected to be a thriller by K Thambidurai, starring Ranjith, Rithi, Prem, Ragasiya, R. Sundarrajan, K R Vijaya, Vadivukarasi, Vaiyapuri, and OAK Sundar.

Oru Kadhalan Oru Kadhali :  This is expected to be a romantic thriller, directed by Selvendran. It stars Chandran, Rambha, Lakshmi Rai, Anu Mohan, Kadhal Sugkumar, R. Sundarrajan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Raja Shree and Abhinaya Sri.
